Overview
This was a newly built pets blog with no landing page, About Us, disclaimer and Affiliate disclosure pages. No logo and No Strapline. In short it was a single page website that needed to be built from scratch.
I was appointed as a full-circle content strategist for this blog. The list of services that I provided to the client included:
Blog Writing with formatting and editing.
Creating monthly content strategy and blog topics hunting.
Finding good Keywords and On-Page Optimization
Off-Page Optimization of website
Creating and managing all social media accounts order to increase reach of the content
Developing a new structure and interface of the site with the help of a web designer
Goals
The ultimate goal of the website was to start a passive income stream for the client.
The client wanted to earn a handsome affiliate commission on the products that were promoted on the website. It was an Amazon-affiliate website for Pets products.
Specifications
The strategy that I devised for this blog was to upload at least 3 blog posts on the website. Initially, the ratio was 2:1 for informational and commercial keywords but later on it was reversed because we were getting more good results with informational keywords.
Within a time span of 3 months, we were able to rank our website on Google. Many of our blog posts were ranking on Google.
